What is EoleAR?
EoleAR is an augmented-reality visualisation app for wind energy professionals. On site, with a smartphone or tablet, it displays a project's wind turbines at real scale in the landscape, positioned by GPS. It produces realistic photos, panoramas and videos in a few clicks, manages several colour-coded layout scenarios and animates the rotation of the turbines.
What is Eole360?
Eole360 is Eolear's 360° viewer. From the office, it places wind turbines or solar panels inside Google Street View panoramas to produce realistic 360° views and videos to share with elected officials, residents and authorities. Layout scenarios can be tested and adjusted in real time.
Who are EoleAR and Eole360 for?
Developers and operators of wind and solar projects, and the consultancies that support them. Both tools are used for consultation with residents, elected officials and authorities, public meetings, public inquiries and educational events.
How is this different from a traditional photomontage campaign?
Visuals are produced instantly, on site or in the office, from any viewpoint, without waiting for a photomontage campaign to be delivered. EoleAR and Eole360 support landscape projection and dialogue throughout the project; they complement the regulatory photomontages of the environmental impact study.
Has EoleAR already been used in a public inquiry?
Yes. EoleAR was tested in a public inquiry with ABO Energy and the inquiry commissioner issued a favourable opinion.
How much does an EoleAR or Eole360 licence cost?
Licences are annual, for 1 to 3 users and one country. The AR licence (EoleAR) starts at €9,750 excl. VAT, the Viewer 360 licence (Eole360) at €7,960 excl. VAT and the combined Viewer 360 + AR licence at €12,397 excl. VAT. Options (scenarios, animation, photos, videos, panoramas) can be added as needed. Detailed prices are in the online shop.
